Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC

Department: Maintenance

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  2. Perform preventive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues.
  3. Repair and replace electrical components, ensuring safety standards are met.
  4. Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed.
  5. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
  6. Collaborate with engineers and technicians for system integration.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  8. Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment.
  9. Interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  10. Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  11. Other duties as required.
Ideal Candidate:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency with testing equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Additional Requirements:
  • Minimal travel required.
  • I9 verification, background check, and drug test required.
