We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to support our operations. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical controls, motors, and automation, along with a strong mechanical maintenance background. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of the electrical and mechanical systems to identify and fix faults before they cause breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including electrical controls, motors, and automation systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new electrical and mechanical systems.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Document maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting purposes.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, motors, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Superior technical skills with a hands-on approach to tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Valid certification as an Electrician or similar role is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, if required.
