Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across the facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and work with PLCs and HMIs. The role requires a hands-on, safety-conscious problem-solver with a strong electrical background.

English reading and communication with supervisors is essential. We offer overtime pay, quarterly profit sharing, a rotating schedule with every other weekend off,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience with electrical and PLC skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Proficient in reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Hands-on experience with meters and measurements.
• Ability to pass an electrical board and PLC programming assessment.
• CPR/First Aid/Lockout-Tagout/Fall protection training may be required.
• Basic English proficiency to read safety instructions and communicate with the team.

Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will need to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is a self‑motivated problem‑solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background and possesses the ability to read and understand ladder logic and program HMIs. Candidates must be able to complete and pass an electrical board and PLC programming hands‑on assessment.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and machine adjustments.

• Enter maintenance data accurately and promptly.

Desired Experience/Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance with electrical and/or PLC skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing.
• Strong mechanical, welding, and cutting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Hands‑on experience with meters and measurements.
• May require skills/competency test on an electrical board and/or PLC programming assessment.
• Training in CPR, first aid, lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, and confined spaces may be required.
• Basic English proficiency is requiredto read safety instructions, understand work orders, and communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
