Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing with welding, fabricating and assembly preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing metal burning and forming equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building-related machinery and equipment.
• Install electrical systems and equipment in accordance with city codes and industrial standards.
• Run secondary power distribution lines and circuits to supply distribution panels, power and control circuits, building lighting, HVAC, weld robots, and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and correct the problem.
• Coordinate outside maintenance vendor activities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs using QAD EAM system.
• Train operators to perform basic periodic maintenance where applicable.
• Identify areas of improvement to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain tool crib stock; keep tool and maintenance cribs neat and orderly.
• Participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
