Job summary

M.C. Dean in Hawaii is seeking a facilities technician to maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems across a data center campus.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and help ensure the site uptime remains at industry-leading levels. The role requires reading wiring diagrams and schematics, applying lockout/tagout, and using test equipment like Dranetz and Fluke devices.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma with 4+ years in the electrical trade.
• Journeyman license highly preferred; HVAC training preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety systems for peak uptime.
• Provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response.
• Oversee junior technicians and contractors for electrical duties.
• Install/replace units per specifications and safety guidelines.
• Document activities in CMMS and generate reliability reports.
