Job summary

Pro Services Workforce Solutions has partnered with a leading food, beverage, and specialty packaging manufacturer to fill this contract opportunity for a Maintenance Tech II at their Corsicana, TX facility. You will be a Pro Services employee working onsite as part of the customer's shift maintenance team.

This is a 24/7 operation with a fast-paced environment, where electrical and controls are your strongest skill set and you troubleshoot from the cabinet to the PLC to keep lines running.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Electrical and controls are strongest area
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems from low to high voltage
• Experience with motors, servos, VFDs, transformers, relays, I/O modules, wiring, and sensors
• PLC troubleshooting at hardware and software level
• Experience with HMIs
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system familiarity
• GMP experience
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 schedule on 12-hour shifts rotating days/nights every two weeks

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns in a 24/7 reactive environment to keep production running
• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 0–24V through 480V three phase
• Diagnose and repair motors, servos, VFDs, transformers, relays, I/O modules, wiring, and sensors
• Review ladder logic by connecting a laptop to PLCs
• Use HMIs to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Work on hydraulic systems on extrusion equipment and replace cylinders
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems on packaging equipment
• Inspect, service, and replace bearings and gearboxes
• Follow GMP and safety procedures
• Pick up PM work 1–2 weeks in advance when offered
