Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) in Delphi, Indiana, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will support production through preventative and routine maintenance, wiring, troubleshooting, and repair of meat processing equipment to minimize downtime.

Expected to work 8–10 hours daily with overtime and weekend shifts; be prepared to operate in extreme temperatures and hazardous conditions while following strict safety policies.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance degree preferred, HS diploma with experience considered.
• Ability to wire, troubleshoot and repair 3 phase systems (480VAC) and control circuits.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Must read and comprehend prints, schematics and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Support production by providing immediate response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment and tools.
• Adhere to safety policies while upholding company policies and ethics.
• Perform other duties as needed and collaborate with team members.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with coworkers, supervisors, and managers.
