Job summary

IMC Outdoor Living in Godfrey, IL is seeking an Industrial Mechanic - Electrical for the 1st shift. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in mechanical/electrical repair, with conveyors experience and familiarity with 480V 3-phase motors. Position requires safety-first mindset and willingness to work varying shifts including nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical repair within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with high-voltage wiring, especially 480V 3-phase motors.
• Knowledge and experience with motor control systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in multi-craft maintenance and repair, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems.
• PLC programming is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures, minimizing risk to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Service trailers and repair/replace industrial equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices.
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems: belts, adjust, align, replace parts.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for safety.
• Work with co-workers to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
