Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate electrical maintenance across mining-site systems and equipment. You will supervise a team, ensure safe, efficient work, and maintain regulatory compliance while aligning with company values and priorities.

You will assign personnel, provide technical direction, coach electricians, and manage priorities with operations and maintenance stakeholders to deliver reliable electrical performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completing an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical maintenance in mining, milling, processing environments.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office and maintenance software.
• Strong verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to independently lead and develop teams; contribute to management.
• Strong administrative, organizational, writing, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Valid state driver’s license and adherence to driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assigns maintenance personnel to prioritized work based on needs, qualifications, and resources.
• Provides technical direction for installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Develops electricians through coaching, feedback, and competency verification.
• Supervises shift activities to ensure safe, efficient work per plans and standards.
• Coordinates work priorities, handoffs, materials, contractors, and stakeholder support.
• Leads safety meetings and reinforces electrical safe work practices and PPE use.
