Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges under the J-Tech II program and prepares our nation’s war-fighting aircraft and systems for today’s missions and tomorrow’s challenges. This Maintenance Trades Specialist II – Electrical role supports electrical systems in facilities, equipment, and subsystems.

The candidate must have a high school diploma plus formal apprenticeship, five years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus formal apprenticeship training.
• Five years of directly related electrical work experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be a U.S. citizen.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, or repair electrical equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Examine blueprints, drawings, layouts to locate trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Perform load calculations for wiring or electrical equipment.
• Use hand tools, measuring and testing instruments specific to the electrical trade.
• May supervise and instruct lower level maintenance workers.
