Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician I to support the installation, maintenance, and testing of diverse electronic and mechanical equipment at various western test ranges under the J-Tech II program.

Under close supervision, you will assist in drafting technical documents, researching issues, and supporting hardware/software testing, while maintaining logs and communicating with on-site customers. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Hands-on experience in related tasks is preferred.
• Basic computer systems knowledge and software applications.
• Ability to take direction and work under deadlines.
• Good communication and analytical planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, calibrate, test, and operate diverse electronic/mechanical equipment.
• Assist in design, coding, and documentation of software products.
• Produce technical documents and drawings and maintain logs.
• Interface with on-site customers for equipment installation and testing.
• Follow engineering standards, plans, specs, and test procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
