Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking an Electrical Manager for the Dune Express Overland Conveyor System. You will lead a team of field electricians, drive safety and reliability, and manage maintenance campaigns across critical electrical assets.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy industry, PLC/SCADA knowledge, and strong leadership. Travel to vendor locations is expected; OSHA/MSHA compliance is required. Excellent budget management and team coaching are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in conveyors or heavy industry with proven project delivery.
Strong budgeting and cost-control skills for OPEX and CAPEX.
Knowledge of PLC, SCADA and industrial automation technologies.
Excellent communication and leadership to manage a diverse maintenance team.
Ability to interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT medical assessment.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical maintenance across the Dune Express system, ensuring OSHA/MSHA compliance.
Design, review, and update electrical schematics and layouts with engineers.
Direct a field electricians team for inspections, PMs, and shutdowns.
Oversight of switchrooms, transformers, and power distribution assets.
Coordinate with vendors for quotes, lead times, and equipment schedules.
Develop budgets, track spend, and report on CAPEX and OPEX.
Lead major outages and maintenance campaigns and drive reliability initiatives.
