Job summary

Insight Global in Florence, Colorado is seeking an experienced Electrical Area Manager to lead plant electrical maintenance, drive reliability improvements, and oversee capital projects in a large heavy industrial facility.

You will mentor maintenance teams, manage budgets, and partner with operations to improve uptime while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A strong electrical engineering background and SAP/CMMS experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years leading electrical maintenance/reliability teams.
  • Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing with ERP/CMMS (SAP).
  • Experience managing budgets, outages, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all electrical maintenance activities across the plant.
  • Manage and develop electrical maintenance personnel and supervisors.
  • Drive plant reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own electrical maintenance budgets, planning, and capital project execution.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve plant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize SAP or similar ERP/maintenance management systems to optimize maintenance activities.
  • Develop long-term maintenance strategies and equipment improvement plans.

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Area Manager to join a large heavy industrial manufacturing facility in Florence, Colorado. This individual will be a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for leading electrical maintenance operations, driving reliability initiatives, managing capital projects, and developing high-performing maintenance teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with a strong electrical engineering background who enjoys improving plant performance, increasing equipment reliability, and mentoring teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead all electrical maintenance activities across the plant
  • Manage and develop electrical maintenance personnel and supervisors

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within electrical maintenance, reliability, or maintenance management
  • Experience managing teams in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/CMMS system
  • Proven experience managing maintenance budgets, outages, shutdowns, and capital projects
  • Strong understanding of industrial power distribution systems, motors, MCCs, drives, controls, and electrical equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop employees, and drive operational improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cement industry experience
  • Experience in mining, aggregates, lime, steel, paper, power generation, chemical processing, or similar heavy industrial environments
  • Reliability engineering or maintenance planning experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale industrial manufacturing equipment
