Summary

Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic in Bainbridge, PA to support our Bainbridge facility. This role involves performing electrical and mechanical duties, including equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown response, and addressing equipment failures.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Fabricate sheet metal and conduit.
• Complete paperwork related to repairs, including work orders, time cards, and job cards.
• Follow safety guidelines established by regulatory agencies and company policies.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend calls for mechanical repairs.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Preferred Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced electrical training preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 1-4 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer, operating, and network systems.
• Basic understanding of high voltage equipment.
• Experience with microprocessor-based equipment (loop controllers, VFD, etc.).
• Experience with gearbox systems, pump systems, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Welding experience (MIG and stick).

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Must be able to move throughout the facility carrying tools and equipment, reach heights up to 150 feet, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and stand for 8-14 hours. Exposure to dust, chemicals, and noise is expected, and safety equipment must be worn as required. Climbing ladders may be necessary.
