Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Firebaugh, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineering & Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, reliable operation of all electrical systems across the plant, including substations, solar PV + BESS, and main distribution boards.

You will lead maintenance programs, supervise automation platforms (SCADA, Ignition), and drive energy efficiency and regulatory compliance in food processing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s preferred) and 7+ years’ experience in processing/manufacturing engineering.
• FE certification, PE, PMP and ISA desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication; bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and upgrade electrical infrastructure across the plant.
• Manage substations, solar PV + BESS, main distribution boards, and control systems.
• Oversee automation platforms (SCADA, Ignition) and plant networking.
• Lead capital projects from concept to commissioning and ensure safety compliance.
• Implement preventive/predictive maintenance and improve energy efficiency.
