Job summary

The role will manage the electrical staff, diagnose failures, coordinate maintenance, and supervise installations, with a focus on safety, compliance, and cost optimization across a greenfield plywood facility employing up to 250 people.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related electrical experience and 3+ years of management experience.
• Associate degree or vocational certification required; BS/EE preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, and control systems; safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all employees and contractors and enforce safety policies.
• Supervise electricians and electrical department personnel.
• Schedule and assign tasks for preventative/predictive maintenance.
• Develop staff to ensure personal and professional growth; lead meetings.
• Maintain compliance documentation and coordinate with vendors/regulators.
