Job summary

Zekelman Industries’ Wheatland Tube division in Warren, Ohio seeks an Electrical Maintenance Foreman to lead the maintenance team, improve uptime, manage preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance. You will coordinate with operations to minimize downtime, supervise staff, review equipment condition, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

This off-shift, on-site role runs 2pm-10pm, six days a week, and requires strong leadership, problem-solving,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical/electrical supervisory experience in heavy industry.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and SAP.
• Ability to supervise complex maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs day-to-day maintenance staff activities.
• Provides technical expertise to support team success.
• Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates maintenance with operations to minimize downtime.
• Attends quick resolution of equipment failures to maintain uptime.
• Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Collaborates with management to improve equipment and processes.
• Works with Purchasing to obtain parts and labor.
• Supports recruitment and performance evaluations.
