Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The role involves preventative maintenance, fault finding on Siemens PLCs, and improvements to equipment in a DAYS ONLY shift (6am-2pm).

Candidate should have an electrical engineering qualification and strong fault-finding and PLC skills, with manufacturing experience and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair faults on manufacturing equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns.
• Reactive maintenance duties.
• Undertake electrical fault-finding, replacing or repairing components.
• Working on PLCs (Mainly Siemens).
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, relocation, and improvement of equipment.
• Comply with health and safety procedure.
