Job summary

High Steel Structures is seeking experienced electrical maintenance personnel for 1st shift. The role focuses on planning and performing electrical and mechanical repairs across fabrication shops and office areas.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, proficiency with VFDs and PLCs, and a PA driver’s license. Overtime and some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting desired.
• Experience with repairs of VFDs, PLCs CNC controls/drives required.
• Welding equipment and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on a wide range of equipment, services, and structures across fabrication shops and offices.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

We are seeking experienced individuals with a strong background in Electrical Maintenance, for our 1st-shift operations.

First-shift coworkers work Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM , as well as every 5th Saturday morning.

On assignment or following established schedules (including some weekends and holidays), this position will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment repairs as well as building repairs on a variety of equipment, services, and structures throughout the fabrication shops and office areas.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
• 5 or more years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting desired
• Experience with repairs of VFD's, PLC's CNC controls/drives required
• Welding equipment and overhead crane experience preferred
• Flexibility required to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
• A valid PA driver's license.
