Prent Corporation in Janesville, WI is seeking an Electrical Machine Builder to assemble, rebuild, and support thermoforming equipment on the Machine Build team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to effectively use common tools and equipment of the trade.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and rebuild thermoforming equipment, with familiarity in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic areas.
• Read and interpret blueprints to accurately build and assemble equipment.
• Overhaul, repair, and rebuild equipment as needed.
• Coordinate build sequences with teammates to maximize efficiency.
• Provide follow-up support for equipment built by the Machine Build Department.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report issues to management.
