Mission Critical Group in Belle Chasse, LA is seeking an Electrical Leadman to lead a crew of industrial electricians installing large-scale switchgear lines, cable tray pathways, and wiring grids in modular buildings. The role bridges electrical design with field installation to meet NEC codes and ensure readiness for operation.

You will supervise journeymen, coordinate heavy equipment rigging, ensure compliance, and maintain safety standards in a demanding production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as an industrial electrician, focusing on switchgear or power plant infra.
• Ability to interpret industrial schematics, three-phase diagrams and wiring plans.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing industrial electrical crews.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of industrial electricians and Electrical Leadmen, balancing crews across heavy equipment rigging and wiring tasks.
• Oversee safe transport, placement, and alignment of switchgear, MCCs, and UPS systems inside the building envelope.
• Verify NEC compliance and adherence to design prints for cable routing and panel connections.
• Document field changes and conduit routes, and support testing in the construction yard.
