Job summary

The Paslin Company in Warren, MI is seeking an Electrical Leader to guide a team of electricians in the layout and installation of electrical components for automation tooling systems. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will mentor technicians, interpret engineering drawings, diagnose electrical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance metrics and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or 8+ years of electrical experience in a machine tool shop.
• 3+ years of leadership in a similar role; strong safety focus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and laying out equipment per blueprints.
• Knowledge of welding, automated assembly, and electrical standards.
• Experience in tooling assembly and setup.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of electricians to achieve operational excellence.
• Layout and install electrical components for tooling in accordance with drawings and specs.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement necessary repairs.
• Mark up drawings to reflect changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and safety regulations to minimize defects and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet site performance metrics and production schedules.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards; perform other duties as assigned.
