Job summary

Canter Power Systems is seeking an Electrical Lead for standby generator installations in Charlotte, NC. You will head the electrical portion from site arrival to testing, ensuring code compliance, quality workmanship, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of hands-on residential electrical experience.
• Standby generator installation experience preferred.
• Experience installing and wiring automatic transfer switches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical portion of residential standby generator installations.
• Install and wire standby generators, transfer switches, load-management equipment, disconnects, breakers, and related components.
• Coordinate with gas/propane installers and project leaders to ensure code-compliant installations.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, plans, and manufacturer specs.
• Provide direction to electrical helpers and maintain a safe, organized jobsite.
