AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead Project Manager to guide the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical systems for data center construction. Ideal candidates bring extensive data center project management experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and certification readiness (PM/PE/CM).

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in electrical systems, construction contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• PM/CM or Professional Engineer certification; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for electrical-related concerns, coordinating with project leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate mechanical systems into project designs and ensure seamless execution.
• Confirm adherence to OSHA regulations, safety guidelines, and sustainability standards.
• Maintain records of test results, certifications, and compliance reports for handover.
• Track electrical costs, monitor expenditures, and manage budgets for quality and compliance.
• Review electrical drawings, specs, and submittals for contract and code compliance.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors and ensure proper sequencing and safety protocols.
• Oversee testing, inspections, and commissioning to meet performance requirements.
• Coordinate client outage procedures and communicate test failures with corrective actions.
• Participate in post-construction evaluations and warranty follow-ups.
