Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking an Electrical Lead II at the Spring Campus to supervise a team of electrical engineers and provide technical leadership for distribution, transmission, substations, primary power, and high-voltage projects. Regular field travel to Midland, TX will be required.

The role emphasizes reviewing contractor deliverables, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety & regulatory standards across office and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, transmission, substations, primary power, and HV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical standards and codes.
• Experience supervising or leading electrical engineers.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Midland, TX.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of electrical engineers in design, development, review, and testing of electrical components and systems.
• Provide technical direction for electrical engineering and design activities.
• Develop electrical construction packages for projects.
• Review equipment design and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and resolve technical questions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety criteria.
• Support field execution in Midland, TX.
