Job summary

SB Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead the electrical scope for a data center construction. You will coordinate with electrical engineers, utility providers, and Owner stakeholders to define power strategies and ensure on-site execution during construction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5–10+ years in electrical design, project engineering, or construction management, with strong knowledge of high/medium/low voltage systems and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10+ years of experience in electrical design, project engineering, or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution systems, backup power (generators/UPS), and NFPA, NEC, IEEE, and applicable local codes.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating with external engineering firms.
• Experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical, data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical scope of work across multiple project phases (concept to closeout).
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, utility providers, and Owner stakeholders to define power strategies.
• Review design deliverables for compliance with Owner standards and tenant requirements.
• Serve as the primary interface between internal teams and external electrical engineering consultants.
• Coordinate electrical scope with mechanical, structural, and commissioning teams for system integration.
