Job summary

Enertis Applus is seeking an Electrical Lead to drive onsite electrical construction, testing, and commissioning of PV systems in Alabama. You will oversee DC and MV collection, inverters, and HV substation equipment, ensuring safe, code-compliant execution on utility-scale projects.

The role requires strong NEC/IEEE knowledge, hands-on installation oversight, and collaboration with EPC teams and OE staff to close NCRs and deliver reliable solar facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years utility-scale solar electrical construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of MV collection systems and substation equipment.
• Experience with electrical commissioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect DC cabling, combiner boxes, and inverter installations
• Oversee MV collection system installation and testing
• Witness electrical testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and OEM standards

Electrical Lead (Full-Time Onsite – Alabama)

Enertis’ Owner’s Engineering Department provides complementary and supplementary engineering services for developers, owners, and operators of utility scale PV solar projects at every stage of a project.

Role:

The Electrical Lead will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of the PV electrical systems including DC systems, MV collection, inverters, and HV substation equipment.
