Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ is seeking an Electrical Lead to supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of PV electrical systems on a major utility-scale solar project in Perry County, Alabama. This full-time, on-site role reports to Site Manager and OE staff.

You will oversee HV substations, MV collection, and inverters, ensuring NEC/IEEE compliance and high-quality field work. Grow into senior electrical oversight and site management positions within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bring 6+ years of specialized electrical construction experience on utility-scale solar projects.
• Hands-on experience witnessing electrical testing and commissioning activities across complex PV systems.
• Deep working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and OEM guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete installation, testing, and commissioning of PV electrical systems including DC systems, MV collection, inverters, and HV substation equipment.
• Inspect DC cabling, combiner boxes, and inverter installations to maintain field quality.
• Track NCRs and produce detailed inspection reports; coordinate daily with EPC electrical teams to keep work moving safely and on schedule.

In this role, you will be based full-time on site in Perry County, AL, reporting closely to the Site Manager / OE staff to oversee the complete installation, testing, and commissioning of all PV electrical systems, including DC systems, MV collection, inverters, and HV substation equipment.

• Diligently track electrical Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), produce detailed inspection reports, and coordinate daily with EPC electrical teams to keep work moving safely and on schedule.
