Job summary

MasTec, Inc. seeks a Skilled Laborer-Electrical to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at jobsites in Amarillo, TX. You will follow safety rules, read blueprints, and support electricians to meet project timelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in construction. Wages are $24.00–$26.00 per hour plus benefits, with opportunities for advancement and paid safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 12 months of related construction experience.
• Or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• DC Install/Termination experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system integrity.
• Travel to different jobsites on short notice.
