Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at jobsites. You will read blueprints, follow safety protocols, and support project teams to keep systems operating.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and about a year of related construction experience. On-site work with potential travel and a competitive pay and benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of construction experience.
• Proficient with electrical tools and equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and wiring installation.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure system integrity.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Travel to different jobsites on short notice and follow project timelines.
