Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Skilled Laborer-Electrical to install, maintain and repair electrical systems at our jobsites, while keeping the site clean, safe and efficient. You will read blueprints, inspect components, and troubleshoot issues to ensure ongoing system integrity.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of related construction experience, with travel to different sites on short notice as needed. MasTec offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient with electrical tools and equipment and able to read diagrams.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system integrity.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; perform routine maintenance.
• Travel to different jobsites on short notice as required.
• Collaborate with electricians to meet project timelines.
