Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools is seeking an Electrical Journeyperson to perform a variety of duties across district facilities, completing all assigned work orders in a timely manner and reporting labor, cost, and pertinent notes to the foreperson daily. The role requires conscientious work and strong workmanship.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of electrical trade experience or willingness to learn, and valid Oklahoma driver’s license and Electrician Craftsperson

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience or general knowledge of the electric trade or willingness to learn.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with no restrictions for on-the-job driving.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current State Electrician Craftsperson card.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Report labor, cost and pertinent notes to foreperson daily.
