Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wire, and fixtures per plans (EMT, rigid, and PVC).
• Rough-in and terminate branch circuitry and boxes.
• Install feeders, panels, transformers, disconnects, and ATS.
• Set lighting fixtures at height using lifts; perform zone wiring.
• Pull underground conductors; trench, bed, and backfill operations.
• Install raceway and pathway for A/V, telecom, and security systems.
• Support testing, labeling, panel schedules, and punchlist closeout.
• Follow safety protocols: tailgate meetings, fall protection, LOTO.

Real work, real duration, and enough of it to plan around. This is a registered California public works project — prevailing wage, certified payroll, weekly.

What You'll Do

• Install conduit, wire, and fixtures per approved plans and specifications — EMT, rigid, and PVC, from 1/2\" branch through 4\" underground duct bank


• Rough-in and terminate branch circuitry, receptacles, and device boxes


• Install and terminate feeders, panels, transformers, disconnects, and automatic transfer switches


• Set and terminate lighting fixtures at height from scissor and boom lifts, including controls wiring and zone tie-ins


• Pull underground conductors and support trench, bedding, and backfill operations


• Install raceway and pathway for A/V, telecom, and security systems


• Support testing, labeling, panel schedules, and punchlist closeout


• Work safely: daily tailgate meetings, fall protection at height, LOTO and energized-work procedures


• Turn in accurate daily time coded to the right cost code


• Take and record your meal and rest periods

Required

WHAT YOU NEED

• California Electrician Certification (State of California ET/General Electrician certification) — current


• Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience


• Ability to read and build from electrical plans and specifications


• OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)


• Comfortable working at height from scissor and boom lifts


• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation


• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and any Owner-required background check


• Own hand tools

Preferred

• Prior public works / prevailing wage experience


• Aerial and scissor lift certification, NFPA 70E, fall protection training


• Experience with high fixture-count lighting installations


• Underground and duct bank experience


• Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation

Wages are paid at the applicable California prevailing wage rate for the Inside Wireman classification, per the DIR General Prevailing Wage Determination in effect for Los Angeles County for this project.

Overtime, shift differential, and Saturday/Sunday/holiday premiums are paid per California law. Paid weekly. Certified payroll filed weekly.
