Job summary
Mortenson is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to provide skilled craftsmanship for maintenance and installation of electrical systems at our sites. You will assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, and fixtures while adhering to electrical codes and safety standards.
The role requires the ability to read plans, work from work orders, and perform preventative maintenance. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to support Mortenson's diverse project teams and deliver
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years of related experience.
- Current driver's license and ability to read plans.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Test electrical systems and continuity with ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes for safety and compatibility.
- Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights, circuits, and related components according to codes.
