Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. in Orlando, FL invites an Electrical Intern for Summer 2027.

This entry-level internship runs May through August 2027 with a 40-hour work week and flexible start times. Interns will apply academic knowledge to real projects from concept to construction, receive on-the-job training and mentorship, and learn Revit drafting/modeling plus electrical design including lighting and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn (Revit, SKM, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Apply academic education to real projects from concept to completion of construction
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers
• Learn Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution
• Support project tasks across multiple sizes and scopes
