Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc in Deerfield Beach, FL is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Intern (Entry) position. Interns work full-time (40 hours/week) from mid-May to early August with flexible start times and a hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days from home.

Interns gain hands-on experience in Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design, with mentorship from seasoned engineers and potential part-time continuation after summer based on performance and school schedule.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
• Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, SKM, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist on real projects from concept to construction completion.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Learn basics of Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution.
