Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc invites a Summer 2027 Electrical Intern to work in Charlotte, NC (ZIP 28269). This entry-level internship runs May–August 2027 with a 40-hour week and a hybrid schedule, allowing up to 3 days from home.

Mentorship from veteran engineers will guide you through Revit drafting and electrical design tasks. Applicants should be pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor's in electrical or architectural engineering and demonstrate a strong interest in engineering consulting,

Qualifications

Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, SKM, etc.)

Responsibilities

The Intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction. They are provided on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting / modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution to all necessary equipment.
