Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician in Sedalia, MO to assemble, install, and prepare electrical components and instrumentation for power generation equipment. You will work on raceways, cabling, and calibration, ensuring quality before power up and supporting multiple disciplines in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience in lieu of education.
• Must be hands on with good organization and teamwork.
• Must be a team player and safety focused.
• Understanding of basic electrical/electronic devices and schematic symbols.
• Technical competence with computers, software, hardware and networks.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate electrical/electronic components per code.
• Install new electrical raceways, conduits and cable trays.
• Perform point-to-point quality checks before initial power up.
• Calibrate instrumentation using pressure pumps and other tools.
• Check cables and instruments with megger and DMM equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Support other disciplines as needed.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance.
