Job summary

The Sofidel Group in Circleville, OH is seeking an Electronic and Instrumentation Technician for a long-term role within a stable, supportive environment. You will apply expertise to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of plant operations.

Responsibilities include electrical and instrumentation maintenance, PLC/DCS programming, troubleshooting, and collaboration with contractors. Safety and GMP/HACCP adherence are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical/automation preferred with two+ years’ related experience.
• Two+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronics and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise electrical and instrumentation maintenance to keep plant safe and efficient.
• Program monitoring systems and troubleshoot errors.
• Maintain robotic systems and PLC/DCS programming and repair.
• Install cables, conduits, and instrumentation for new equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to improve efficiency and safety.
• Train others and share knowledge on equipment and procedures.
