You will research and implement technical solutions to satisfy automation needs, improve operating efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in electrical/automation fields.
• Strong troubleshooting in A&I, PLC, DCS, and robotics.
• Industrial environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and direction to operations and purchasing for quality, efficiency and cost optimization.
• Determine root cause and corrective actions for quality and production deficiencies.
• Directly support production in outage execution and safety improvements.
• Provide project engineering and design expertise; complete calculations, drawings, specifications, reports on schedule and budget.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and instrumentation; troubleshoot faults.
• Input work orders and track parts using designated systems.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC/DCS systems; collect data to monitor efficiency.
• Repair electrical and electronic systems including electromechanical equipment.
• Follow GMP and HACCP to promote a safe workplace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
