Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians for our Rincon, GA facility. This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime in a 24/7 operation, with a 12-hour rotating schedule and holidays/overtime.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical degree or 3 years of industrial electrical/instrumentation experience and is skilled in PLCs, instrumentation, motors, and control panels. Benefits include educational assistance and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or three years of industrial experience in electrical/instrumentation.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical components.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, motors, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and controls; share knowledge with team.
• Troubleshoot and install equipment at component level per codes and procedures.
• Work on motors, pneumatics, conveyors, and production machines.
• Assist with project planning and new equipment installation.
