Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting ability with low/medium-voltage systems, MCCs, VFDs, motor controls, and instrumentation.
• Comfort working in plant, mill, manufacturing, chemical, paper, food, or heavy industrial environments.
• Reliable transportation to the Iowa City, IA area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, MCCs, VFDs, motor controls, and process equipment.
• Calibrate, service, and troubleshoot instrumentation such as pressure, flow, level, and temperature devices.
• Support preventive maintenance, planned outages, shutdowns, and plant reliability work.

Skills

Troubleshooting ability with low/medium-voltage systems

Experience with process instrumentation

Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics

Industrial electrical and instrumentation experience

Comfort in plant and heavy industrial environments
