Job summary
Georgia-Pacific LLC in Rincon, GA is hiring Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians for its 24/7 facility. The role supports production and quality goals by performing preventative and corrective maintenance and working a 12-hour rotating schedule that includes holidays and overtime, with 14 days off every 4 weeks.
As an E&I Tech, you will troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation, install equipment, and support project planning and new equipment installations, with opportunities for growth
Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree/certificate or a minimum of three (3) years of industrial experience in the electrical and/or instrumentation field
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical components
Responsibilities
- Share knowledge with other technicians for maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and controls
- Troubleshoot and install equipment at the component level, ensuring compliance with state, company plant codes, policies, and procedures
- Work on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Participate in project planning support and new equipment installation
