American Crystal Sugar Company in Moorhead, MN seeks an Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor to direct day-to-day inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation for factory machinery. The role emphasizes commissioning, installation and capital project oversight.

The supervisor will plan the E&I crew for maintenance operations, train subordinates, and provide input on budgets and capital projects to maximize plant efficiency and production.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with three to five years of related industrial field experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance and design in power distribution, motor control, and process control systems (DCS).
• Knowledge of the sugarbeet industry or relevant industrial experience in power plants, refineries, ethanol, pulp and paper, steel or food processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs electrical and instrumentation equipment in a safe and timely manner by directing the activities of subordinates.

• Communicates maintenance and repair requirements to factory management and beet processing personnel to maximize production.
• Ensures that maintenance and capital projects with E&I responsibilities are completed on time and within budgetary guidelines by planning, productivity and project tracking.
