Job summary

Avient Corporation's Greenville, NC site is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic E/I to maintain production equipment, perform repairs, calibrations, and preventive/predictive maintenance to minimize downtime while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related technical field.
• Six years of industrial maintenance experience with HS diploma.
• Basic computer and maintenance software skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and create field sketches.
• Knowledge of NC building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance tasks and vendors.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and external vendors.
