Job summary

System One is seeking an Electrical Engineer‑Electrical & Instrumentation for its Spring Grove, PA site. The role focuses on electrical and instrumentation engineering, capital project management, and technical support across the facility.

You will lead safety‑driven engineering initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with codes and standards while optimizing reliability and cost.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally pulp and paper, power generation, or heavy industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Registered P.E. license and/or PMP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of power generation equipment, distribution up to 13.8 kV, relay protection, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical and instrumentation engineering for the Spring Grove facility and manage capital and repair projects.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support, troubleshooting, and best practices for power systems and process control.
• Develop and maintain capital and repair plans with safety, quality, cost, and schedule focus.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers, interns, and co‑ops.
