Reworld in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain and repair industrial electrical and control systems across power plant equipment. The role covers boilers, electrical equipment up to 13.8kV, switchgear, DCS, and CEMS, with calibration and preventive maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance electrician experience, strong PLC and ladder logic skills, and the ability to read layouts and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and formal technical or apprentice training.
• Minimum 3 years as maintenance electrician in a power plant or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of 120V to 13.8kV and AC switchgear.
• Ability to read layout plans/blueprints for installation or troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in calibrating gauges, transmitters, RTDs, thermocouples, and related instruments.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance on industrial plant electrical distribution systems and control equipment.
• Test and maintain low/medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and transformers.
• Troubleshoot and repair DCS and historian devices, CEMS, and process instrumentation.
• Assist in plant shutdowns and maintain clean, safe work areas in line with safety practices.
• Complete maintenance records and participate in overtime/on-call rotations.
