Job summary

GP Strategies Corporation in Michigan is seeking an Electrical instructor to teach existing courses to clients in heavy manufacturing settings, with up to 75% travel and all travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities include delivering courses in Basic Electricity, Electrical Safety, Arc Flash/NFPA 70E, Motors, Motor Controls, Transformers, PLCs (RSLogix), VFDs, Conduit Bending, Wiring, Electronics, and Instrumentation/Process Controls; US Navy Nuclear Electricians Mate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and industrial electrical experience in the listed areas.
• Experience teaching in industrial settings preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% with all travel expenses paid.

Job description

Electrical instructor will be assigned existing electrical courses to teach to our clients, as well as some development of electrical courses. Clients are industrial, typically heavy manufacturing plants. Primary work location is in MIchigan, but but assigned teaching duties will require up to 75% travel (all travel expenses paid).

Ability to teach and industrial electrical experience in most of the following areas:

• Basic Electricity
• Electrical Safety
• Arc Flash/NFPA 70E
• Motors (DC, Three phase and Single Phase)
• Motor Controls
• Transformers
• PLCs (RSLogix preferred) (Optional)
• Variable frequency drives (Optional)
• Conduit Bending (Optional)
• Wiring (optional)
• Electronics
• Instrumentation/Process Controls

US Navy Nuke Electricians Mate preferred.
