Job summary
Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer in Phoenix to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life safety systems, with building automation as needed. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, providing technical installation support and training.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in electronic security, strong blueprint reading, and experience with wiring access control, cameras, and door hardware.
Qualifications
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in electronic security industry.
- Construction background with electrical or low voltage experience.
- Preferred: Electrician designation or related certifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm & life safety systems and building automation.
- Provide installation support and training to customers and colleagues.
- Interpret manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams; repair equipment using test instruments and hand tools.
- Ensure safety, quality and performance on site per Convergint standards.
- Progress through the trade program to Electrical Installer III.
