Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team. You will lead installing, programming, system start-up, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, often large and complex.

We value integrity, growth, and equal opportunity. Education: High School/GED; 5–7 years experience; strong blueprint, electrical, and mechanical aptitude; ability to read plans and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Excellent understanding of blueprints, labeling methods, and wiring.
• Familiar with blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively within budgeted cost and time schedules with minimal guidance.
• Supervises other Installers.
• Performs other duties as requested or required.
